Artist affiliated to the MDA Listed and quoted in the ADEC
Native of Nantes, NAPO has settled over many years in southern France. She dedicates herself to her art so much original in that it targets all children from 7 to 77 years old (to parody Hergé). Indeed, she develops an imaginary world where meet fairies and ladybirds, flowers and animals, elves and children.
Her compositions seem the fruits of the marriage of Andersen and Bruegel, the first for the themes and the second for the richness and profusion of the personages. Her technique, on wood mostly, very elaborated, requires time and patience; the result is that her work is intended not only for the young audience but also for the part of chidhood slumbering in each of us. Such as "la Madeleine de Proust", Napo brings us back to the magic dreams of our youth. A.
